Does the curriculum support teachers and encourage student learning and development?
Every Child Ready materials meet expectations for supporting implementation, learning environments, and assessment. The program provides clear structures, routines, and guidance that support consistent classroom implementation, along with tools to support instructional delivery and classroom organization. A range of instructional approaches supports engagement across settings.
Assessment tools and implementation supports are included across the program; however, there are missed opportunities to strengthen guidance for interpreting assessment results and applying them to instructional decisions. There is also variation in the clarity and consistency of implementation guidance across resources. The materials provide strong support for classroom environments and instructional routines, with missed opportunities in assessment usability and supports for instructional decision-making.
